Lakeview, Oregon - Effective June 4th, 2013 the Oregon Department of Forestry Industrial Operations Adjective Class changed to a Moderate. The Industrial Fire Precaution Level for the Fremont-Winema National Forest and the Lakeview District BLM will remain at Level 1.
2013 Fire Season Goes Into Effect in Klamath and Lake Counties

Lakeview, Oregon - Fire officials in Klamath and Lake Counties will officially declare fire season beginning Friday, May 10, 2013 at 12:01 A.M. on lands protected by the Oregon Department of Forestry (ODF) Klamath-Lake District and Walker Range Forest Protective Association. This affects all private, county, state forestlands, and those Bureau of Land Management (BLM) lands under contract and agreement west and east of Highway 97 in Klamath County respectively.
